Jake (Yellow Lab on the right) is no longer with us but he was the most incredible dog I have ever met.  He trained other dogs and mentored me on body language and what dogs understand.  He showed me how to intervein if dogs aren’t getting along, what dogs do if they don’t like what another dog is doing and so much more.  He went from an 8 month old abused, fearful dog with separation anxiety to one of the most influential personas in my life.  There isn’t a day that goes by or a training session where I don’t think of him or use him as an example of how dogs should act toward other dogs or people.  Thank you Jake!  Here is a picture of Jake and Lucy playing in the back yard.
