We train our dogs because we want them to interact with us in a way that lets us enjoy them and they can in turn enjoy us, our best friends.

How we train our dogs can make all the difference in their willingness to learn and our willingness to teach.

If I asked you to spend 15 to 30 minutes to train your dog 3 to 5 times a week, you would probably tell me you would because that’s what you think I want to hear, but the reality is that you probably don’t have the time to do that.

You can achieve even better results by teaching your dog what you want them to learn (basic training), and then training them 10-seconds at a time, that’s why I created 10-Second Training.  You will increase the speed of your dog’s ability to execute commands and your dog will stay trained for life.

Can you spend an extra 10-seconds before you let your dog out to relieve them-selves, eat their meal, going for a walk or any other interaction?  If you are willing to incorporate 10-second training into daily life and interactions with your dog you will see great benefits using this training method.

I use this method on my dogs, Jake and Lucy and I noticed that Jake was paying more attention to the squirrel and cat then he was to me, I used 10-second training to get his attention back with me on walks, now he will look at me when I ask him to rather than focusing on the squirrel or cat, and it was less than 10-seconds at a time.
